What's New?
Supplier Codes
Supplier codes will now be added to your Briefs and Bills of Materials. This allows retailer users to select the appropriate internal code for their suppliers and report on this data. It will also ensure all tasks go to the correct supplier sites and user groups.
Retailer admin users can create codes for their Product Suppliers by accessing the ‘Supplier Codes’ tab in their Domain details page and clicking on the ‘+ Add Supplier Code’ button
Retailer users will need to select a product supplier before they can add a code
All codes created will be displayed in the ‘Supplier Codes’ tab of the Domain details page.
- Retailer admin users will be able to see and edit all the Supplier Codes they have created
- Product supplier admin users will be able to see all the codes created for them but they will not be able to create any or edit existing ones
When creating a new brief:
Retailer users will have to select a supplier code for each supplier they are briefing.
Note: if your supplier doesn’t have a code, you will not be able to create a brief for them, please make sure you have created codes for your suppliers before creating new briefs
Retailers can add as many suppliers and supplier codes as they need
Once the Brief is created, the system will check the Codes selected for each supplier to determine how many ‘Create BOM’ tasks to create and what users are assigned to them
- A new ‘Create BOM’ task will be created for each code selected for a supplier
- For example, if the retailer selected Product Supplier A and the codes 123, 456 and 789
- 3 BOMs will be created for Product Supplier A, BOM1 for code 123, BOM2 for code 456 and BOM3 for code 789
- For example, if the retailer selected Product Supplier A and the codes 123, 456 and 789
- The ‘Create BOM’ tasks will be assigned to the users linked to the sites which are linked to the Codes
- For example, code 123 is linked to Site1 and Site6. Site1 has the users User1, User5 and User8, and Site6 has User1 and User3
- Then, User1, User3, User5 and User8, will receive all the product supplier tasks for BOM1 (code 123)
- If no users are assigned to the sites, the task will be assigned to all users in the product supplier organisation
- For example, code 123 is linked to Site1 and Site6. Site1 has the users User1, User5 and User8, and Site6 has User1 and User3
Once a Bill of Materials has been created, the supplier code will be displayed on its page
Link Existing Bills of Materials
Once the retailer approves the use of an existing BOM in a ‘Confirm BOM Link’ task
- The existing BOM will be linked to the code of the Brief, so the BOM will have multiple codes.
Reports for Product Suppliers
Product suppliers will now be able to see reports on e-halo. The reports will be a version of their retailer’s reports filtered by the product supplier.
If you would like a report added to your organisation in e-halo, please contact your Supplier Success Manger or e-halo contact.
Attached Components Group: New ‘Adhesive field’
To help accurately evaluate the recyclability of a Bill of Materials, we have added a new field to the Attached Components Group: ‘Adhesive’.
Users will need to select the type of adhesive as part of the creation of an Attached Component Group
Updates and Bug Fixes:
- When a task is transferred, any comments added as part of the transfer will be included on the ‘New Task’ email
- You will now be able to see your component type, when you download your component as a PDF file
- We have added a validation summary to the Product forms, so that users can see all the mandatory information is missing in one place
- Fixed the issue where users were able to save an attached component group without selecting a component tier
