What's New?
New role: Read-Only user
A new role is available for e-halo users: ‘read only user’.
Users with this role will be able to see all the items in their domain (products, briefs, bills of materials and components) as well as reports but will not have a task page and won’t be able to complete any tasks.
This role can be assigned to users by the domain administrator(s), like any other role, or you can request the support team to change your role.
Please note, this role will not work in conjunction with other roles (domain administrator or domain user). To be ‘read-only’, a user must only have the ‘read-only’ role.
Brief instructions character limit
We have changed the character limit in the brief instructions page to 10,000 characters, so that users can add more detail to the brief when needed.
Synchronised elements on pages
We have synchronised the elements on all e-halo pages so that what you see on your tab matches the URL and the e-halo page:
Updates and Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the issue where the keyword filter in the ‘Reports’ page wasn’t working.
- Fixed the issue where product supplier users where able to cancel ‘active’ components if they had been re-opened due to new mandatory fields.
- Fixed the issue where the value of an upload field wasn’t blank when a component was copied so it looked as if documents had been copied across when they hadn’t.
- Fixed the issue where the component was showing validation errors for previously completed fields after it was saved.
- Fixed the issue where the ‘copied from’ information was being removed from a copied component after the ‘complete component’ task was submitted for it.
- Fixed the issue in the ‘Create Bill of Materials’ task where users couldn’t select an existing bill of materials linked to the same product that was briefed in if they selected the ‘copy and amend from an existing bill of materials’ option.
- Fixed the issue in the ‘Confirm Bill of Materials link’ task where the instructions text was showing the incorrect information if there were 2 or more active ‘Confirm Bill of Materials link’ tasks for the same bill of materials.
- Fixed the issue where an existing component could not be linked to a product measured by volume if it had been created as part of a product measured by weight.
- Fixed the issue where the confirmation popup wasn’t showing up after a ‘Create Bill of Materials’ task was transferred.
- Fixed the intermittent issue where the status of components wasn’t being updated to ‘active’ after the bill of materials they were linked to was approved.
