Please ensure that the data supplied is based on the formed component.

Materials

Select a material option from the list. Only select the ‘Other (specify)’ box where your material selection is not available.

If your packaging format is made of mixed materials which are from the same family e.g. “plastics”, please select Mixed Plastics (specify), rather than mixed materials.

If your component is made of mixed materials, and your predominant material is over 95% of the overall component, please select the predominant material from the drop-down. DO NOT choose a mixed material (specify) or Other (specify) for this input.

Packaging Formats

Select a packaging format from the list if available and use the ‘Other (specify)’ box where your format is not available.

If the pack format you are looking for is not on the list, i.e. “Pot” on the Glass specification, you can select the closest match, i.e. jar.

Color of Material

Select the color of the material from the list. Only use the ‘Other (specify)’ box if your color is not available in the drop-down list.
The color of the material is the actual color of the component and does not relate to printing color(s).

Select the correct component type

Please ensure you build the correct component types for your data, i.e. corrugate box should be built under the corrugated type, and a cap/lid should be built under the closure type.

Other

Avoid ‘Other (Specify)’ where possible and try and avoid ‘Other’ component type where possible. These options are only to be used where the item you require is not on the drop-down list.

Weights and Measures

Weight / measure relates to the individual component, prior to being filled with product, please ensure this weight is correct.

% combined laminate, coating & other materials

% of total component weight made up by laminates, coatings or additional materials combined, not including base material or inks.

Print Coverage

If your component is not printed, please select <50%.

Mandatory Fields

All mandatory fields must be fully completed.

Certification uploads

You must upload a copy of the supporting certification if you claim on pack that your component is sustainably sourced or compostable.
