Actuator Mainly used as spray nozzle for aerosols and spray bottles
Band Bands or banding is used to hold together multiple products.
Base Web Film used to form base component on vacuum forming machines.
Blister Card Cartonboard base card for use with blister pack.
Blister Pack Vacuum / thermo-formed clear plastic blister.
Can End This is part of a one or two piece can.
Capsule Mainly used to store coffee.
Clip A metal clip could also be a tie / twist clip for bags.
Collar Decorative collar on bottles, cakes, etc.
Film Film is used for wrapping, sealing or containing products, often in the form of a bag or lidding film.
Fitment Rigid plastic fitment to separate or secure items in pack that are not part of main packaging component.
Fitting Used to separate or secure items in pack that are not part of main packaging component in shipping cases or cartonboard boxes.
Liquid Carton Multi layered liquid carton with cap such as Tetra or Sig Combi bloc.
Membrane Barrier seal for liquid containers or as integral part of closure.
Pouch Preformed stand up pouch for better display of product.
Sachet Small formed film / paper for measured quantity of product.
Sleeve Printed, decorative wrapping on main component.
Tag Decorative information label that is separate from main component but attached by cord.
Void Fill Filling used to prevent movement in transit.
