FSC – Forest Stewardship Council

Credible Certification from audited sources of Timber, Paper and Recycled Paper products and materials. Ensuring that materials are from a well- managed forest and/or recycled source. There are currently over 200 million Hectares of forest being managed to FSC standards.

Companies manufacturing material, packaging or products made from these materials should use membership and certification numbers and all sources are traceable back to forest material was cut from.

PEFC – Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification

A global alliance of national forest certification systems.

SFI – Sustainable Forestry Initiative

An organization in USA / Canada aiming to promote and advance Sustainable Forestry through forest focused collaboration.
