What's New?
Take tasks
Users will now have the possibility to take tasks assigned to other users in their organisation so that they can complete them.
The new ‘take task’ functionality will allow a user to transfer tasks to themselves. For example, ‘Colleague 1’ and ‘Colleague 2’ both work for the same product supplier organisation, ‘Colleague 2’ has a running ‘Complete Component’ task assigned to them, but they cannot complete it because they are off ill.
Today: ‘Colleague 1’ can see the ‘Complete Component’ task is assigned to ‘Colleague 2’ but they cannot complete the task, as it’s not assigned to them.
With the ‘Take Task’ functionality: ‘Colleague 1’ can see the ‘Complete Component’ task is assigned to ‘Colleague 2’ and they have the possibility to transfer this task to themselves. Once they have transferred the ‘Complete Component’ task to themselves, ‘Colleague 1’ will be able to complete it.
Note: the functionality only works for tasks within your organisation, you cannot ‘take’ a task assigned to a user that belongs to a different organisation.
The ‘take tasks’ feature is specially useful for teams where all the team members can complete any/all tasks in their organisation and a specific task doesn’t need to be completed by a specific person(s).
To take a task that is not assigned to you, go to your Task Hub, find the task you wish to take and click on the ‘take’ button:
e-halo will ask you to confirm your action:
Once the action is confirmed, the task will be assigned to you, and you will be able to access and complete it.
This functionality is available upon request, if you are interested in adding this feature to your organisation, please contact our support team on support@sunbranding.com
Bill of Materials, Component and Product Hubs: Summary cards update to filtered results
When users filter their results in the Product, Bill of Materials or Component Hubs, the summary cards at the top of the hub will update to reflect the filtered items.
For example, if I filter my component hub to only show ‘active’ components and there are 10 active components in my organisation, the summary cards at the top of the hub will say
- 10 Total
- 10 Active
- 0 In Progress
- 0 Approval In Progress
- 0 cancelled
Task Hub: new ‘Supplier Code’ column
We have added a new ‘Supplier Code’ column to the Task Hub to help users differentiate between Bills of Materials when they are working on different Bills of Materials for the same product.
The supplier code will be available for the following tasks:
- Create Bill of Materials
- Complete Bill of Materials
- Approve Bill of Materials
- Confirm Bill of Materials link
Note: the 'Supplier code' column will always be blank for the component tasks, ‘Complete Component’ and ‘Confirm Component’, as components don't get supplier codes assigned to them.
Updates and Bug Fixes:
- E-halo popups have been enhanced, so that they don’t automatically close when users click outside of them.
- Organisation admins will no longer need to click on a contact’s details to view their roles, the roles will now be displayed in the summary panel.
- Fixed the issue when linking an existing component to a Bill of Materials, where users would see a secondary component only available to link for secondary component and not for secondary and tertiary (and vice versa).
- Fixed the issue where files saved in Attached Component Groups could not be downloaded.
- Fixed the issue in the ‘Attached Component Groups Details’ page, where the components’ material was not displayed on the ‘material’ column.
- Fixed the intermittent issue where re-opened components couldn’t be completed because empty mandatory fields were not opened correctly and remained read-only.
