Creating a 'Master' Bill of Materials

If you have multiple products using the same packaging, please create one 'master' Bill of Materials first.

• Complete the master Bill of Materials and submit it for approval.
• Once this is approved, you can then link the master Bill of Materials to the remainder of the products sharing the same Bill of Materials.

Example:

Below is a table with 3 products which will share the same Bill of Materials.

You should create a Bill of Materials for only one of these products, e.g., Pinto Beans.

Once this has been approved, it can be linked to the remaining products, Dark Red Kidney Beans and Great Northern Beans.
