What's New?
Certification Hub
The new ‘Certification Hub’ is now available in e-halo. This feature will allow organisations to have all their certifications in one place and make it easy to manage them.
Note: the ‘certifications hub’ feature must be activated by the retailer before it can be used. If you wish to activate this feature, please speak to your Aura representative.
When the ‘Certification Hub’ feature is active for a retailer organisation, all certificates needed for components used in their products will uploaded directly into the ‘certification’ tab of a component.
Similar to the way technical drawings are uploaded.
When certificates are uploaded for a component, they will automatically be saved into the Certification Hub and linked to the component they were uploaded to.
Having all certificates in one place (the Certification Hub) has many advantages:
- Once a certification is in the certification hub, it can then be linked to other components. Users will no longer have to upload the same certificate multiple times.
- Certifications can be managed separately from the components they are used in:
- Users can see all the SKUs or components linked to a specific certification.
- Users can see certifications’ expiry dates.
- Users can see all certifications that are about to expire and all expired certifications.
- Expired certifications will be highlighted.
- When a certification has expired, users can easily revise it by uploading the new certification.
- All components linked to that certification will automatically be linked to the newest (in date) revision.
- Users can see the history of revised certifications and download previous certification documents.
- Certification data can be reported on.
- E.g. expiry dates, certification type, certification body, etc.
Examples of expired certificates:
From the Certification Hub:
From the certification details page:
From a component’s details page:
Cancelled SKU: Cancellation reason is displayed in the SKU details page
We have enhanced the SKU details page to display cancelation info for cancelled SKUs.
The cancellation info will include:
- Cancellation reason
- Date of cancellation
- User that cancelled the SKU
- Cancellation comments
Please note the SKU details page is accessible only when its feature flag is on and might not be available for the SKUs in your organisation.
Updates and Bug Fixes:
- We have added a loaded indicator to the Component Hub so that users know when data is still loading.
- Fixed the issue where users were being kicked out of the ‘Complete Bill of Materials’ task after adding or editing an attached component group.
- Fixed the issue where product suppliers could not see SKUs linked to their organisation until after the ‘Create Bill of Materials’ task was completed.
