Introduction to the Documents Hub in e-halo

Introduction

This article provides an introduction to the Documents Hub in e-halo. The Documents Hub offers a central location to view and manage certification documents.

When you access the Documents Hub, you will see a collection of documents that are automatically gathered from certifications attached to Components within your organisation.

Key points to know before you start:

• Documents can only be added via an item (Component), as they form part of the item’s documentation and cannot be uploaded directly to the Documents Hub.
• You can upload up to three certificates per certification type on a single item.

The Documents Hub can be accessed by selecting the ‘Certifications’ icon from the left-hand navigation panel.

Rights

• Retailer users: will be able to see certification documents that are:
  1. Linked to items (BOMs and/or Components) that are linked to their products
  2. Note: certifications can only be uploaded for Components so retailer users will not be able to upload documents.
• Product supplier users: will be able to see certification documents that are:
  1. Linked to any of their BOMs or Components
  2. Linked to Components that are linked to their BOMs
  3. uploaded from their domain
• Packaging supplier users: will be able to see certification documents that are:
  1. Linked to any of their Components
  2. uploaded from their domain
