- Only users with Domain Admin access can add new contacts to their organisation in e-halo.
How-to:
1. Go to the navigation sidebar, clock on the cog icon and select 'Contacts'.
2. Here, you will see all contacts associated with your organisation.
3. Click on 'Add Contact' in the top-right to create a new contact.
4. You will be directed to the 'Add Contact' page. Complete the information for your new contact and click on the 'Save' button when you are finished.
5. You will be directed back to the 'Contacts' page, where you will be able to see the newly added contact.
Note: e-mails can only be added once into the system, so you will not be able to create a contact if the email used already exists in e-halo.
6. Once the new contact has been created, they will automatically receive an invitation to set up their e-halo login via e-mail. The invite contains a link which the user must click to complete the user-creation process.
Note: Until the user clicks the link in the email and accesses the system, you cannot assign work to this user.
Deactivate Contacts
1. Go to the Contacts page by clicking on the ‘Contacts’ button in the System Admin section.
2. Find the contact you wish to deactivate and click on it to select them (the contact will be highlighted in blue). You will see the contact’s summary on the right-hand panel: click on the ‘Deactivate’ button:
3. The ‘Deactivate User’ popup will appear: you will need to enter a deactivation reason and your password to deactivate a user.
4. Once deactivated, the contact will not be able to access e-halo and they will have a status of ‘De-Activated’.
Reactivate Contacts
1. Go to the Contacts page by clicking on the ‘Contacts’ button in the System Admin section.
2. Find the contact you wish to re-activate and click on it to select them (the contact will be highlighted in blue). You will see the contact’s summary on the right-hand panel, click on the ‘Reactivate’ button:
3. Once reactivated, the contact will receive an email to reactivate their account and they will have a status of ‘Active’.
