Complete and Submit a Component (Task)

  • Product Supplier users can brief the the creation of a component to either a Packaging Supplier or to their own Product Supplier organisation, who will receive a 'Complete Component' task.

 

How-to:

1. Firstly, go to your Task Hub, find the 'Complete Component' task you wish to complete and click on the task to access the component.

2. In the component's details page, you will see the brief instructions added by the product supplier at top of page and just below is the brief type. The component's basic information can be found on the left hand side bar.

Note: use the Briefcase icon to view the brief instructions and the Paperclip icon to view attachments (if any). Use the pin in the top-right to pin the header while scrolling forms.

3. Complete the component specification form in the 'Overview' tab and upload any documents and technical drawings if needed into the 'Technical Drawing' & 'Documentation' tabs.

If you don't have all the information to complete the specification form and submit your component, click on the 'Save' button to save your progress without submitting the component. You can access and complete the component at a later date.

 

4. When your component is ready to be submitted to the product supplier for review, click on the 'Submit' button in the top right corner.

 

5. e-halo will validate that all the mandatory information has been added.

If any mandatory info missing, you will not be able to submit the component. You can see a validation summary at the top of the page to know what information is missing from the form.

6. Once the component has been submitted, the task will close and will be removed from your task page.

 

7. The product supplier user that briefed the creation of the component will receive a 'Confirm Component' task to review the submitted component.
