What is the difference between corrugated and cartonboard/paperboard?

Corrugated board is typically constructed from two facings or liners bonded to a corrugated/fluted liner and can be either single wall, double wall and triple wall.

Cartonboard/paperboard is a thick paper-based material and with a grammage above 250 g/m2 and has no fluted liner.
