- Only retailer users can cancel SKUs.
To cancel a SKU, retailer users will have to access the 'SKUs' tab of their product details page and find the SKU they want to cancel.
How-to:
1. Click on the context menu ('...' button) of that SKU.
- If the SKU has a status of ‘on sale’, or 'off sale' it cannot be cancelled.
- The ‘cancel’ button will be disabled.
- If the SKU has any other status (‘in progress’ or ‘available for sale’)
- The ‘cancel’ button will be available.
2. When the retailer user clicks on the ‘Cancel’ button, they will see a warning modal, asking them to confirm they want to cancel the SKU, provide a reason and add optional comments.
As with all other cancellation reasons, these will be reportable. If you would like to add these to your reports, please contact Support on support@sunbrandingsolutions.com.
3. After the SKU is cancelled, e-halo will check the status of the Bill of Materials linked to the SKU.
-
If the Bill of Materials linked to the SKU has a status of ‘in progress’, ‘available for sale’ or ‘approval in progress’, e-halo will check if the Bill of Materials is linked to any other SKUs.
- If the other SKU(s) the Bill of Materials is linked to have a status of ‘in progress’, then any active tasks for that Bill Of Materials will remain active.
- If the other SKU(s) the Bill of Materials is linked to have a status of ‘cancelled’, then any active tasks for that Bill of Materials will be cancelled.
-
If the Bill of Materials linked to the SKU has a status of ‘Active’, no tasks will be cancelled as the only active tasks are ‘Confirm Bill of Materials Link’ tasks.
- These would be SKUs with a status of ‘available for sale’ or ‘off sale’.
